Our mission is to provide veterans and their families with safe, accessible, and dignified homes. We facilitate connections between veterans and skilled contractors who can perform essential home repairs and specialized ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) modifications for disabled veterans, honorably discharged veterans, their immediate family members, and active military personnel. We are driven by the conviction that those who have served our nation deserve more than just our thanks—they deserve to have their fundamental needs recognized and met.

Significant home repairs and accessibility upgrades often require professional knowledge, financial support, and substantial effort, making them inaccessible for many families. We work to close this gap by supporting projects that create meaningful change—whether that means repairing disaster-related damage, modernizing outdated or unsafe features such as stairs or walls, or completing any repairs necessary for health and safety.

Our ADA-specific modifications are customized to meet the individual needs of disabled veterans, promoting greater independence and comfort at home. These enhancements may include widening doorways for mobility devices, installing secure grab bars and railings, building custom wheelchair ramps, or adapting cabinetry and equipment for improved accessibility. Each project is thoughtfully designed to ensure every veteran enjoys the safety, comfort, and convenience they have earned.

Veterans Serving Veterans Organization currently offers temporary housing solutions for veterans experiencing homelessness or those at risk. We have established partnerships and resources to ensure that each participant receives tailored support, including financial planning, employment assistance, guidance on VA benefits, and access to individual counseling when needed. Every veteran entering our program is provided with a comprehensive plan to help them regain stability and work towards independent, permanent housing. When veterans are ready to transition, we assist them in securing affordable housing options and can help furnish their new homes if required. 

Looking ahead, our organization is actively developing a dedicated temporary housing facility, designed to offer private rooms, essential amenities, and on-site counseling for both individuals and families. This new facility will accommodate up to 20 individuals and 10 families, providing a secure and supportive environment at no cost. In addition to safe housing, the site will host ongoing behavioral health programming delivered by qualified professionals. We also aim to foster a sense of community by opening our doors to local residents for support groups and sponsorship opportunities, enhancing the well-being of both our veterans and the broader community. 

 Our organization partners with local senior living facilities, assisted living communities, and generous donors to provide essential furniture for veterans in need. Whether a veteran is transitioning into permanent housing or simply requires updated furnishings in their current home, we strive to assist in every situation. We collect a diverse range of furniture pieces to accommodate various needs and living arrangements.
