Our mission is to ensure that veterans and their families have safe, accessible, and dignified homes. We offer critical home repairs and specialized ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) modifications for disabled veterans, extending these services to all veterans with honorable discharges, their direct family members, and active military personnel. We are guided by the belief that those who have served our country deserve more than gratitude—they deserve to have their fundamental needs honored and fulfilled. 

Major home repairs and accessibility improvements often require a combination of professional expertise, financial resources, and considerable physical effort, which may be beyond the reach of many individuals and families. We aim to bridge this gap by providing assistance with projects that make a real difference—whether it's repairing damage from disasters, modernizing aging and hazardous structures like stairs or walls, or addressing any repairs deemed essential for health and safety. 

Our ADA-focused modifications are tailored to the unique needs of disabled veterans, enhancing their independence and daily comfort within their homes. This may involve widening doorways to accommodate mobility devices, installing sturdy support bars and railings, building custom wheelchair ramps, or reconfiguring cabinetry and equipment for greater accessibility. Each improvement is designed with care, ensuring that every veteran can enjoy the security and convenience they so richly deserve. 

Veterans Serving Veterans Organization currently offers temporary housing solutions for veterans experiencing homelessness or those at risk. We have established partnerships and resources to ensure that each participant receives tailored support, including financial planning, employment assistance, guidance on VA benefits, and access to individual counseling when needed. Every veteran entering our program is provided with a comprehensive plan to help them regain stability and work towards independent, permanent housing. When veterans are ready to transition, we assist them in securing affordable housing options and can help furnish their new homes if required. 

Looking ahead, our organization is actively developing a dedicated temporary housing facility, designed to offer private rooms, essential amenities, and on-site counseling for both individuals and families. This new facility will accommodate up to 20 individuals and 10 families, providing a secure and supportive environment at no cost. In addition to safe housing, the site will host ongoing behavioral health programming delivered by qualified professionals. We also aim to foster a sense of community by opening our doors to local residents for support groups and sponsorship opportunities, enhancing the well-being of both our veterans and the broader community. 

 Our organization partners with local senior living facilities, assisted living communities, and generous donors to provide essential furniture for veterans in need. Whether a veteran is transitioning into permanent housing or simply requires updated furnishings in their current home, we strive to assist in every situation. We collect a diverse range of furniture pieces to accommodate various needs and living arrangements.  The Veterans Serving Veterans Organization proudly offers comprehensive lawn care services to disabled and elderly veterans who are unable to manage these tasks themselves. Whether it’s routine mowing, precise edging, and leaf clearing, or more substantial projects like improving drainage or removing hazardous trees, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers is committed to meeting these essential needs. We strive to provide reliable, ongoing support, ensuring each veteran’s outdoor space remains safe, accessible, and well-maintained.
